Trip to Batam...

Went to for short trip to Batam... took a ferry to batam centre..bcos we missed our ferry straight to waterfront....got our ticket early but went to eat n missed boarding time by 2mins..we couldnt tap our card to enter..we werent inform by the ferry counter to be entre by 2pm when our ferry was at 2.20pm..luckily a couple missed it too n so they suggested the ferry company change our ferry route to Batam centre n we will share a cab to the hotel..how lucky were we...must be the lucky date 08/08/08...there was a like a small shopping centre...nothing much though

Manage to get a good spa package deal from the NATAS fair...Holiday Inn hotel include massage and foot reflexology which was 90 mins...we were given the 2 bedroom suite with cable tv and free buffet breakfast.the cafe is 24hr with room service... ferry fuel included...

Such a waste if only we knew that we were getting the suite ..could have invited 2 more ppl..they just have to pay for ferry tickets...had facial and dyed my hair it was like so much cheaper than Singapore...food price was reasonable bcos one serving was enough for 2 ppl to share at least for us...Overall I would say it was a good n very relax trip...worth the money n also save on parking too...paid about $5 for 2 days...
